Welcome to Manchester's AirconWarehouse.com!
Spring & Summer 2012 We're looking forward
to summer here at airconwarehouse.com
as our Manchester office is
currently revelling in
the 22 Deg March heatwave! . The
general concensus seems to be
that, after 4 years of poor
summer weather, we may be in
for a change of luck.
With
that in mind, we are currently
organising our sumer stocks
so that we should be well positioned
to "ease the pain"
of this year's summer sun !!!
Winter 2010/2011 - coldest on record? The start
to the Winter heating season
has been horrendous - with record
low temperatures & long-lying
snow in most areas - The ancient
AirconWarehouse Land Rover Discovery
has never worked harder! This
years big heating problem has
been freezing drains on both
Heat Pumps & Condensing
Boilers - with overnight lows
in excess of minus 10 C in many
areas and daytime temperatures
failing to rise above freezing,
Combi Boiler & Heat Pump
condensate drains have
been freezing up right, left
& centre! Luckily, our Land
Rover Discovery has kept us
able to service customers irrespective
of the snowfall and fitting
Continental Vanco Winter snow tyres
to our VW Transporter transformed
it's traction abilities, on
both snow & ice - consider
them "tested & approved"! With
the low temperatures looking
set to be a feature for the
rest of the winter, We are currently
working on a range of electric
drain heating kits for boilers
& heat pump systems
- We'll be adding them to the
site soon.
Summer 2010 Air Conditioning News - The Air Conditioning Season Starts! Early
indications are that this Summer
is going to be two things this
year:- WARM & LONG! I
know we've heard it all before
- memories of last year's
"Barbecue Summer"
are still fresh in everyone's
minds - but the gut feeling
here at AirconWarehouse is that
we might just be in with a chance
- Heaven knows we're due some
decent weather at last! Our
advice for buyers is this:-
BUY EARLY! All
of our manufacturers/suppliers
have been looking very carefully
at stock levels over the last
few years due to rubbish weather
& poor trading conditions
- consequently, Europe wide
Air Conditioner stock levels
are pretty low. This means that
early hot weather - either here
or in Europe - will mean that
Air Conditioning stocks could
soon be depleted, with installers
& dealers scratching around
for quality stock - Remember
also that August is when our
Euro cousins shut down their
Air Conditioning factories and
go on holiday, whilst we all
get to toil on...............
Mad dogs & Englishmen as
they say.
Spring 2010 - Heat Pump News. Mitsubishi's EcoDan Air Source
Heat Pumps continue to dominate the
market in terms of sales figures
- Hardly surprising really as
this is a solid range of
Inverter Air Source Heat Pumps
using R410a refrigerant - It
tickles us here at AirconWarehouse
to see boiler manufacturers
offering inferior (non-inverter)
heat pumps utilising outdated
R407c refrigerant at premium
prices. Believe us when we say
that if you are paying more
than £1,500 for an Air to Water
Heat Pump - It needs to say
Mitsubishi
EcoDan, Sanyo
CO2 Eco or Toshiba
Estia on the box! Don't
settle for second rate non-Inverter
units running on R407c
Air
Source Heat Pumps (air to
air heat pumps) have always been the mainstay
of the commercial air conditioning
world. However, with the world's
top manufacturers now turning their multi
billion pound R & D
attention to Residential
Air Source Heat Pumps for
water heating, the residential heating arena is
now really starting to hot up!
Residential & Home inverter air source
heat pumps have had the
research & development attention they deserve
from the likes of Hitachi, Daikin
& Mitsubishi - with Sanyo currently
leading the way in UK with their CO2
Eco heat pump system. We've
said it before at airconwarehouse.com
but the future really is bleak
for boiler manufacturers....... Jump onwards

conditioning

on all aspects of air conditioning
& heat pump technology.

Log
Cabin & Garden Pod Heat
Pumps We have
been inundated this year with
requests for heat pump air conditioners
for use in Log Cabins, Garden
Pod Offices & Garden Home
Offices. Buyers are now becoming
savvy to the tremendous energy
savings these systems offer
in heating mode over normal
electric heaters. For example,
the latest Hitachi SX8
series wall mount heat pump
units are a new breed of "Heating
Optimised" heat pumps &
have a COP (coefficient of performance)
of 6.0 in heating mode. This
means these units consume a
mere 166 watts of electricity
for every 1000watts (kW) of
heat they give you. The benefits
don't stop there either. All
of our wall mount heat pumps
have advanced air filters &
can also cool you down in summer.
in cooling mode, these units
massively reduce pollens
as any that gets through
the filters sticks to the
cold, wet inner surface of
the unit & drains away with the condensate.
