Sanyo's use of Carbon Dioxide as the refrigerant in these systems means that ultra high water temperatures are available WITHOUT the routine use of back up-heaters!

A unique selling point of the Sanyo system is that the heat pump unit defrost cycle uses only 2 kw of "bleed heat" from the total heating capacity. This means that the unit continues to provide heat for hot water whilst defrosting - a truly unique feature!

Please note - this Sanyo C45DEN CO2 Air Source Heat Pump requires the matching SHP-45GDN Tank unit
